4-Flute HDC End Mills with 5xD Cutting Length for Trochoidal Milling
Designed to fully exploit the advantages of dynamic and trochoidal milling, this 4-flute end mill extends the cutting length up to 5xD. This extra-long configuration allows the machining of deep pockets and walls in a single vertical pass, eliminating the need for multiple step-downs and ensuring a perfectly uniform surface finish. To counteract the increased bending forces generated by the extended length, the tool features a reinforced core and anti-vibration geometry for stable and smooth cutting performance.
The multilayer TiAlN-based coating protects the cutting edge from high temperatures, providing excellent wear resistance and maximum reliability in high material removal applications.
