HPC Up&Down Cutter for CFRP Milling
Our HPC Up&Down carbon fibre cutters with counter-rotating flutes represent engineering excellence for trimming and contouring multi-layer composite panels.
They are designed with ultra-fine-grain carbide to machine even the most abrasive composite materials with ease and safety.
This configuration generates converging cutting forces that compress the fibres towards the centre of the material during the cut: the result is a flawless finish, completely free from burrs and delamination on all panel surfaces.
To withstand the destructive and abrasive action of carbon, the entire range is coated as standard with the high-thickness Cer-DM CVD diamond coating. Thanks to a microstructure of pure chemically vapour-deposited synthetic diamond, the Cer-DM coating offers unrivalled surface hardness, which minimises cutting edge wear.
