HPC Straight Flute Endmil for CFRP Milling
Our HPC carbon fibre end mills with straight flutes are designed using ultra-fine-grain carbide to machine even the most abrasive composite materials with ease and safety.
This specific straight-helix geometry exerts a cutting action that minimises axial forces on the spindle.
This milling cutter is the ideal solution for machining composites, regardless of fibre orientation: long fibres, short fibres, interwoven fibres and unidirectional fibres.
To counteract the extreme abrasion caused by carbon fibres, this range comes as standard with a thick Cer-DM CVD diamond coating. Thanks to a microstructure of pure chemically vapour-deposited synthetic diamond, the Cer-DM coating offers unrivalled surface hardness, which minimises cutting edge wear.
Available in various lengths to suit any thickness.
