HPC Left Helix Endmill for CFRP Milling
Our left-hand-helix HPC carbon fibre milling cutters are designed with ultra-fine-grain carbide to machine even the most abrasive composite materials with ease and safety.
This specific left-hand helix geometry exerts a pushing cutting action that optimises downwards chip evacuation, making it the ideal solution for CNC machining operations requiring the removal of dust from below.
This milling cutter is the ideal solution for machining composites, regardless of fibre orientation: long fibres, short fibres, interwoven fibres or unidirectional fibres.
To counteract the extreme abrasion caused by carbon fibres, this range comes as standard with a thick Cer-DM CVD diamond coating. Thanks to a microstructure of pure chemically vapour-deposited synthetic diamond, the Cer-DM coating offers unrivalled surface hardness, which minimises wear on the cutting edge.
Developed in various lengths to suit any thickness.
