This specific right-hand helix geometry exerts a pulling cutting action that optimises upward chip evacuation, making it the ideal solution for machining from solid stock and working on rigidly clamped panels.
This end mill is the ideal solution for machining composites, regardless of fibre orientation: long fibres, short fibres, interwoven fibres and unidirectional fibres.
To counteract the extreme abrasion caused by carbon fibres, this range comes as standard with the high-thickness Cer-DM CVD diamond coating. Thanks to a microstructure of pure chemically vapour-deposited synthetic diamond, the Cer-DM coating offers unrivalled surface hardness, which minimises cutting edge wear.
